Devalle’s experience of leading a disability sports holiday programme at Action for Kids (AFK), gave him a taste of just how rewarding the role can be.
He decided to apply to Disability Sports Coach (DSC) where he has been volunteering since January at Club Kensington and Chelsea and Club Westminster.
Devalle said: “I volunteer at two DSC clubs and would recommend it to anyone.
“It’s great to see members gain new skills, while adding to my coaching experience in sports like Boccia.
“Since working for DSC I have learned so many adapted multi-sports.
“There are new club participants each week and it’s good to see members making friends and to build relationships with other coaches and volunteers.
“Being at a DSC club is like being part of a one big community of friends.”
