We are delighted to welcome three incredible new trustees to the Board of Disability Sports Coach (DSC).
Tim Copley, Ayaz Bhuta MBE and Phil Lloyd.
DSC Chair of Trustees, Karen Sorab, OBEĀ (pictured below) said: “I’m incredibly proud to announce that three new trustees have joined the Board of Disability Sports Coach.
“Tim Copley is Director of Physical Activity & Sports Development at London Sport; Ayaz Bhuta MBE, is a Paralympic Gold medal-winning wheelchair rugby player and GB coach, and Phil Lloyd is a City financier with national level rugby experience.”
The new trustees share their motivations for joining DSC.
Tim Copley, (pictured above), wants to tackle the root causes of physical inactivity and make the benefits of living an active life available to everyone.
Ayaz Bhuta MBE , (below), is keen to change the perception of disability and empower young people to achieve their goals.
Phil Lloyd, (below), believes in the power of sport to enrich people’s lives, which drives his desire to see it accessible to all.
DSC Chair, Karen Sorab OBE, added: “Together our new trustees bring a wealth of knowledge and experience, strengthening DSC and propelling us forward on our journey to make sport accessible to all disabled people.”
