Coaching expertise at London Youth Games

Disability Sports Coach (DSC) offers expert coaching to the highest standard and our courses are delivered with professionalism and care.

We are proud to once again work with London Youth Games, who commissioned us to train a group of young leaders to officiate at a London-wide New Age Kurling competition.

The leaders, from Eastbury Community School in Barking, did amazing work, helping to make the competition for Years 3/4 disabled children, a huge success.

DSC was also responsible for running the overall competition which was held in March, and for ensuring that it provided a positive and memorable experience for all the young disabled competitors involved.

The city-wide competition, attracted entries from 17 London boroughs, with Merton emerging as the overall winners.

Hugh Elsegood, Head of Service Delivery at DSC, said: “Disability Sports Coach is delighted to be so heavily involved in such a prestigious inclusive event.

“It’s fantastic to see so many disabled children displaying their sporting skills and having the opportunity to compete against lots of participants from all over London.

We thank London Youth Games for entrusting us, once, again, to play such a major role in the delivery of this excellent event”.
