Celebrating National Coaching Week 2019

As part of National Coaching Week, we’re celebrating milestones and thanking our coaches

To celebrate National Coaching Week from 3rd June to 9th June 2019, we’re shouting about milestones we’re reaching. From the number of sessions, coaches and awards we’re making sure our workforce are appreciated!

To celebrate, we’re taking to social media by sharing a magnificent milestone every day this week. Be sure to follow our channels to see the good work we’ve been up to since September 2013.

Hugh Elsegood, Disability Sports Coach’s Sport & Physical Activity Manager said: “Providing specialist coaching opportunities for disabled people is one of our Charity’s core services and it’s encouraging to see how many Schools, Colleges and community organisations are recognising the importance of getting their students and service users active on a more regular basis.

Sports coaching is a great way to help participants enjoy the health benefits of regular exercise as well as teaching them important social skills which can be used in many other areas of their lives”.

We’d like to take this opportunity to thank all coaches, volunteers and staff who have contributed to such an impressive set of milestones.
