This winter, 8 Community Clubs will take on the challenge to become sporting champs in 4 competitions, as part of our Club Derby Series
Community Clubs taking part in the Club Derby Series will go head to head with their local rivals for a session of socialising and competing. Our friends at Baseball Softball UK will be taking the serious business over, leading the competition in Baseball across all 4 of the derby’s.
Following the Club Derby’s, we hope to bring together all our clubs in June 2019 for larger scale competition event at one of London’s leading Baseball grounds just weeks before Europe’s first Major League Baseball event.
In the run up to the Club Derby Series, our staff, coaches and volunteers will all take part in a Baseball Activator coaching course so they are able to deliver the baseball from now on, continuing to engage our members in the sport.
Of course the derby’s are not just about competition, we know our members like the opportunity of meeting other club members to make new friends and share experiences.
