Easter Sports Day features as success story from 5,000 social media posts for London Sport’s campaign
London Sport’s #LDNMovesMe campaign has been designed to inspire people to show the world what being active in London means to them, and to celebrate the diversity of the ways that Londoners choose to take part in physical activity and sport.
The campaign was launched on the 28th March 2017 alongside key partners including Our Parks, GoodGym, Parkour Generations & us, Disability Sports Coach.
London Sport have recently celebrated their favourite moments so far as they reached a whopping 5,000 mentions across social media platforms Twitter, Facebook & Instagram.
We were excited to see that our Easter Sports Day on the 5th April 2017, a opportunity that 67 Community Clubs members attended to try a flavour of new sports and some friendly competition, was selected within a group of 4 other best moments.
Mieke Stones, Marketing Manager, London Sport, said: Disability Sports Coach became one of our campaign partners from the very beginning, joining the launch event in March along with others, including Our Parks, Parkour Generations, Metro Blind Sport and more. These campaign partners have been true champions of #LDNMovesMe by posting their own inspiring photos and films of how London moves them. By working with organisations such as Disability Sports Coach, we are able to represent the breadth and depth of Londoners and the types of activities and locations they get active in.
