Kate Grey becomes Disability Sports Coach Patron

Kate Grey, former GB Paralympic Swimmer, Athlete Mentor and BBC Sports Broadcaster has become a DSC Patron, further pledging her commitment to improving community sport for disabled people.

Kate knows being active has changed her life for the better and wants everyone to have the same opportunities, “I’m very passionate about working with communities to get people active and living healthier lives regardless of their ability. Being active and involved in sport has changed my life for the better and provided so many opportunities.”

Having originally attended DSC Summer’s Festival 2016, Kate was impressed with the sheer number of people engaged regardless of their background.

“Disability Sports Coach are brilliant at providing endless opportunities for disabled people, that in the past would have been ignored or overlooked. I want to work with DSC to make sure people from all walks of life are able to access the same opportunities.”

From all at Disability Sports Coach, we would like to thank Kate for supporting the work we do and we look forward to welcoming her on board.
