One Million Stories X #WeCouldBe

We’ve teamed up with London Sport and their One Million Stories project to share five inspiring stories of physical activity and sport as part of our #WeCouldBe campaign

Sunday 3 December marked International Day for Disabled People, a day aimed at promoting the rights and well-being of people with disabilities in all spheres of society and development, and to increase awareness of the situation of persons with disabilities in every aspect of political, social, economic and cultural life.

To celebrate the day, and as part of our #WeCouldBe campaign, we’ve teamed up with London Sportand their One Million Stories project to celebrate disability sport and demonstrate the breadth of opportunities for deaf and disabled people to be physically active in the capital.

From 4-8 December, we’re sharing five Londoners’ inspiring stories through our Instagram channel, each of whom have a unique experience of the sport they take part in and why they participate.

Below are some previous posts from One Million Stories and #WeCouldBe and keep an eye on our channels throughout the week to stay up to date with the latest inspiring stories.
