A crew visited our club in Wandsworth to see members take part in multi-sports and meet up with friends.
A reporter chatted to our Founder Peter Ackred and our Chair of Trustees, Karen Sorab, alongside the club’s coach and members.
The visit came after Disability Sports Coach (DSC) won the Uniting London Award from London Sport.
The award, in association with Sport England, recognises organisations that use physical activity and sport to unite the city’s diverse communities and who embrace difference.
It was fantastic to welcome the BBC to Club Wandsworth, to witness first-hand how we use the power of sport to transform the lives of disabled people.
We are so proud of the film and are very grateful to all those who contributed to it, showing that our clubs are just the most amazing places!
