Rio 2016 GB Paralympian, Jack Rutter inspired by latest #MyStory

Jack Rutter, Great Britain’s 7-A-Side Football Captain and former Birmingham City FC academy player was encouraged by reading Graham Dobson’s #MyStory and his transformation to being a couch potato to a qualified football coach.

Jack was keen to urge more young people to share their stories. “The #MyStory campaign is truly inspiring and it shows what ever obstacles you are faced with you can still reach your potential! I look forward to reading more stories in the coming weeks.”

Graham spoke about the obstacles he faced growing up. Jack, similarly faced an enormous obstacle as at the age of 18 was knocked to the ground and suffered brain damage as a consequence. The incident forced his retirement from professional football in 2010 but he has recently celebrated his Paralympic debut in Rio 2016 after being inspired to continue to play sport by the London 2012 Paralympics.
