Summer Festival 101 – The Sports

Are you keen to have another go at the sports you love or excited for something new? Well you can do both this year!

We listened to your feedback from last year and brought back some of the sports you know and love and introduced the sports that were high in demand. All of our sports partners are amazing at adapting their sport to suit the needs of all disabilities so give them all a go and take advantage of their expertise!

We have 21 sports on offer, take a look who will be providing each on the day:

If you’ve counted correctly, you will notice there are 3 sports missing from that list. Not to worry, these mystery sports will be revealed in our next Summer Festival 101 article so keep your eyes peeled… I will give you a hint, they’ve never been at the Summer Festival before.

The Summer Festival is one of our highlights of the club year, however our partners enjoy it just as much as we do! Back for their 4th year, The Golf Trust will be here for your golfing fix.

The Golf Trust Founder, Cae Davis commented: “The Golf Trust is looking forward to the Summer Festival as always. It’s a highlight of our year and is great to be involved in such a fun day and meet all the participants involved.”

Newbies to last years Summer Festival, Skates & Ladders jumped at the chance to be involved again this year.

Manager Oliver is excited to be back: “We do not often get the opportunity to teach disabled people, so we would love to come down this year and encourage more to take part and get the previous participants back on their board!”
