Meet TeamDSC – our nine super runners

Pcubed
Starting at Tower Bridge, the Big Half finishes at the iconic Cutty Sark and goes through the four London boroughs of Tower Hamlets, Southwark, Lewisham and Greenwich.

Running for us will be a team of seven from global management consultancy Pcubed. The team have volunteered at a range of events over the past year, including our Summer Festival, and have so far raised over £550 to support our Clubs.

Andrei Angelescu & Alex Turner
Andrei Angelescu and his friend Alex Turner are celebrating four years of friendship by taking on a challenge that inspires others to be more active.

The pair said “By running The Big Half we want to make a plea to show that physical activity is for everyone and that by living an active life, we can become happier, healthier and more successful. And what better way to do so than supporting a fantastic cause.

To bridge the massive gap in participation for people with disabilities, Disability Sports Coach makes it possible for all disabled children and adults to have the same opportunities as their non-disabled peers, to learn new skills, take part in sports, have fun and meet new friends.”

A big thank you to each of our runners – and good luck!
