Christmas has come early for members of Community Club Southwark!
Our partners at Team London Bridge generously treated each member to early Christmas presents.
Team London Bridge’s Gift Back campaign has run for 15 years, collecting gifts from local businesses before donating them to charities. This year, an incredible 1,745 gifts were collected from 26 businesses.
Alongside their gifts, Coach Debbie and our wonderful volunteers Lucy and Katie brought in festive snacks. Members particularly enjoyed Katie’s delicious homemade cookies!
Scott has a learning disability and is a regular member of our club. He said ‘I can’t believe it’s for me! Thank you so much!’
We echo Scott’s sentiments! Thank you Team London Bridge and partners for helping people like Scott and his friends feel part of the Christmas festivities.
