On Friday 27th July 2018, 400 disabled people and their family, friends and carers celebrated by being active at our 4th Community Club Summer Festival, sponsored by LMAX Exchange and Club Matterswanted to be part of it!

Our end of year Summer Festival aims to inspire disabled people to be active, try new sports, meet friends, discover sport and non-sporting activities that our workforce and partners provide. 21 different sports, special guests, two performances and enjoying an array of new additions were the highlights from this year’s event.

Club Matters is Sport England’s one stop shop for sports clubs. Club Matters provides free, convenient, practical resources to help you develop and run a sustainable club. They wanted to understand why our workforce support our events like our annual Summer Festival.

Our team provided some helpful tips to either getting involved in disability sport or for those that want to make sure their activities were inclusive. Community Coach Omar Shariff, Coach Alfie Russell & our Business Development Manager, Louis Wickett-Padgham talked about their stories and motivations in supporting.
