We are excited to announce that we will be supporting a series of inclusive events this summer in Wandsworth in partnership with Enable Leisure and Culture. The Wandsworth Inclusive Sport Festival takes place in August, showcasing the different sports and physical activities on offer in the Borough.
Taking place at George Shearing Centre and Shillington Gardens, the Wandsworth Inclusive Sport Festival is free of charge and will demonstrate the opportunities for disabled people in the borough to get active.
Hugh Elsegood, Partnerships Manager at Disability Sports Coach, said, ‘After the hugely popular inclusive activity events at Shillington Gardens in the summer of 2021, we’re delighted that the Wandsworth Inclusive Sport Festival will return this year.’
‘With more activities on offer this year, it promises to be an even bigger celebration of inclusive opportunities available for disabled people across the borough.’
Sessions will take place on 2nd, 4th, 9th and 11th of August, and will feature a variety of sports including, football, cricket, athletics, badminton, hockey and multi-sports.
