It’s an absolute honour to have made the shortlist for such a prestigious award in the borough that is home to the Disability Sports Coach head office!

Our Club Southwark has been established for more than a decade and is a thriving centre of disability sport. It’s open and accessible to all.
The borough’s London Southbank University is home to our disability sports training courses, where our experienced coaches share their knowledge. It’s a place to learn how to coach established disability sports, or to discover how to modify mainstream sport so that it is inclusive.
Our connections to Southwark are many and varied – not least that we were lucky enough to win this award in 2019.
We are keeping our fingers crossed that our work will be recognised once again and are very grateful to have made the shortlist, along with some other wonderful charities.
