We’re celebrating the year of the Paris Paralympics! 🥇
Starting with our Tower Hamlets Paralympic celebration holiday camp.
The session takes place at Poplar Baths Leisure Centre, on Wednesday, February 14 from 10am-2pm.
It’s for disabled children aged five to 11 years and their siblings and is booking up fast. Sign up here.
Disability Sports Coach has also devised a number of Paralympian sports packages, which we will be delivering to schools, colleges and businesses.
Children and young people can try out new sports and learn about the Games, while colleagues can bond over a game of Boccia!
Paralympic table tennis player Will Bayley, who is ranked world number one in his sport, is backing our Paralympic campaign.
Will, a proud Disability Sports Coach patron, said:
“Disabled people need the same chances to play sport as everyone else.
“In this Paralympic year, the spotlight falls on the incredible achievements of disabled sports people around the world – and just what’s possible if the right opportunities are in place.
“Disability Sports Coach breaks down the barriers to sport so that everyone can play and it’s great that its Paralympic events programme is highlighting the importance of the Games for the next generation.
“The Paralympics changed my life – it could change yours!”
