The award winning clubs offer all disabled people 11 years upwards the chance to play sport in a structured and social environment. Within the clubs developing participants’ physical and social skills run hand in hand. We are looking to refine this ethos in year 3 by offering each club a sporting opportunity or trip outside their club setting.

Signposting more club participants to competition opportunities will also be a focus, in particular working alongside The Tennis Foundation, The Golf Trust, Surrey and Middlesex Cricket and football clubs.

“It’s lovely for me to see the progress he has made over the past year – not only in his ability to take part in the sports, but in his attitude and concentration whilst doing so.” Club Wandsworth Parent

The clubs will continue to have monthly club champ winners as well as the opportunity to win one of our 18 Jack Petchey Achievement awards during the course of the year. The successful introduction of club loyalty cards last term sees a new improved card being launched, incentivising participants to attend every week and greatening their sense of belonging to their club.
